Apple TV to have DVR capability?

Gentlemen, I saw an article that suggests there is anectodal evidence of a DVR capability in the future for the Apple TV. Specifically, there are some Automator Actions which suggest the Apple TV will have that ability. Would that be cool or what? Check it out:

Future DVR ability?

(BTW, Apple TV is back on the Apple Store's best seller list at number 10 after an absence)

OK, now DVR is something that would potentially get me on board with buying an Apple TV. Otherwise, I would be a little hesitant, since it seems to have some limitations. By the way, the iLounge did a review on Apple TV, and while it was recommended, it was not that highly reviewed. Interesting.

P.S. Don't forget the beer.

Beer?! Beer? Will it really be necessary to drink beer to enjoy the harmony of Apple TV. The pure greatness of the design would surely be enough intoxication.

I think Apple is going to feel out the market and see what will sell. Right now Apple TV does not have video inputs as far as I know so the first generation people would be out of luck. My Dish DVR uses a coaxial cable for input from the Dish. Which is digital. I still don't know where Apple wants to go with this device. Are they hoping it will draw people in to download more paid content from iTunes? Do they lose money on each Apple TV sold and make it up in selling content. (Microsoft Xbox model) The iPod model is simple in comparison. Practically give away the music (at least from Apple profitability standpoint) and make it up in large profit margins on the iPod itself. I'm still puzzled.

After checking out the article link, I have a few comments. I believe that these video and audio capture could just be from the screen of your computer. I have a program that does that would allow people to capture youtube.com content to store in a format for Apple TV.
