The rumors are swirling about another generation of iPhone that is cheaper than the current! It's hard to assess the reliability of a lot of these reports, but it sure would make sense for Apple to appeal to a broader price range of consumer on the iPhone. What do you think?

I think it is probably too soon for that. But down the road for sure. I would agree that the new iPods will be touch screen though. Maybe wi-fi too. I talked with my college age son, and he just got a new cell phone which has a 2GB chip in it. It allows you to load your music into it from your PC. These new devices might hurt the future of the simple iPods. So it is a great time for Apple to be coming out with the iPhone and maybe lower end versions of it.
