New iMac
Gentlemen, I'm back! Just in time to see Apple release the latest incarnation of a very important product line, the iMac. What do you think? The darn thing just keeps getting slimmer, doesn't it?
Welcome back. I think the switch to the Aluminum over the plastic has pushed the aura of quality up on the iMac. This is what is used on the Pro series of products up till now. The new keyboard looks very cool but I would have to try it to see if it feels comfortable. Mostly a cosmetic boost to the iMacs.
Apparently it's the first consumer mac to sport the Firewire 800 interface, however! I think Jobs mentioned that consumer tests showed many "professionals" were attracted to the new iMac. Hey, I'm a "professional", and I love the iMac!
