Kindle on fire?
From the looks of Amazon's web site they make it seem like the Kindle is a big hit. Stating that they now have more in inventory and are ready to ship. Is this for real or is it just a bunch of hipe? You be the judge! I don't buy that it is a massive hit. Maybe a hit as big as the Zune. I kid. I kid.

You know, Stitch, I have been wondering the same thing for some time. THe thing is, you can't buy a Kindle anywhere but at Amazon. They are by default the biggest seller of the Kindle. But give credit where credit is due: it is also the best seller for the electronics category. Again, a lot of stuff like the iPods are available in tons of outlets, so I argue the Kindle, while selling reasonably well, is not the huge hit we might think (and that they want us to believe.)
