Oh how times have changed, Stitch. I still remember the days when we had to search far and wide for the Comp USA store to get the latest Apple gear. Now, the iPad is in Walmart of all places!

Walmart the low cost leader? Selling iPads? Not really a low cost product. The iPad is a cutting edge, pay a premium product. So yes I am baffled. But it does show how Apple fever can make enemies into new allies. Actually it really doesn't matter where you buy the iPad, Apple pretty much forces a single price across the board. It does give Apple exposure to a buying public which is a bit different than their normal higher end target market.
You know, when I think about it, one can purchase a lot of things from Walmart like firearms and stereo equipment, not to mention gaming machines, that are not so low priced. So perhaps this is a very good move for Apple. The times have changed, and Apple has done a great job of changing faster than most.
