My Aunt has an iPad!
I am thrilled to announce that my aunt bought an iPad (under my supervision) and is now using it for internet connectivity! She is the first one in our family to have a tablet device (although my parents have kindles, I don't think it's the same thing). It really is a thing of beauty! Everything just works!

Congrats to your Aunt. I'm sure she will be another fully satisfied Apple customer. Did show own a Mac before this? The iPad turned a dead market of the tablet computer into a thriving new market. Now everyone is playing catchup with Apple again. It's the iPod all over again. There were hard drive music players before Apple, but Apple got it right. My son got an iTouch for Christmas and he was ecstatic. It is amazing how well it works. My only complaint is that many of the applications use the touch interface which requires quick reactions. With my big fingers I block out too much of the screen. The iPad with it's larger size should alleviate this problem for quick action games. The iTouch is still amazing, as long as the programs realize this limitation of its small size.
Stitch, the iPad's larger size is a thing of beauty! I have a 2nd gen iPod Touch, and I LOVE it!! I now use it to control all the music in our house through Airplay. The iPad really is something, and it's hard to describe. It almost seems like it connects with a human more easily than most devices because of its size, portability, and of course outstanding software. Honestly, we are seriously thinking about the second generation iPad.
