Ive's is the man. I'm sure Jobs was overjoyed when he found Ive's. The man is a design genius. Have you ever seen product design magazines where they show these really cool looking products that really don't do much of anything. Like a cool hair dryer. Ive's takes it one step further and wraps a cool product in a package which is so naturally right in the way you interface with it. In the end, people have to use a companies products. I have to agree with the article questioning how can there be so many bad designs. I think it is because the design is still functional but not bad enough for the consumer to get so pissed off not to buy another product. Like my DVR which came with Dish Network. It has a couple of really cool features but the majority of the interface is so bad you spend all of your time searching for where in the large menu system you need to be. Ugh.
