Next up, favorite podcast.

This is an "everyone play". No Tiger needed. Podcast's are in their infancy, there are many silly ones with people giggling. Not many do I return to for information or for entertainment value. Yes, I know that I'm a photoshop geek but can't resist learn more about probably the most important and productive software used. Even on the PC side. (sorry MS Word) I'm sure these guys will share with us just how Stitch managed to get his mug on that mug. Share your podcast with us. As an FYI, I have found it helpful not to limit your podcast exploration to iTunes. There are many podcast directories that can point you to your area of interest. Cheers.

I really like the Podcast "Science Friday" on NPR. Ira Flato is the host for this once a week program. On the radio it comes on Fridays and they discuss everything from "Dark Matter" in the universe to sub atomic particles. I usually only get to listen to some of the program at lunch but now I can catch the full episode on my iPod Shuffle. Even the Shuffle will keep track of where in the Podcast you left off. Because I don't have a screen though I have to put the podcast in a song 1 and then use the sequential play to easily find the podcast. Even Christina has listened to Science Friday, even on her own. I have created another geek.

Let's give credit where credit is due - Kudos to Christina for having an open mind. And let us give credit to all our spouses for accepting the Mac Fanatic in all of us. In our family we have three iPods. My wife is very understanding to allow this situation. And by the way, YES, we use all three iPods!

OK, if we're going to start bragging about our "Mac Quotient", then I might have you all beat, but I do have 2 kids in college that helps our position. Our household consists of 5 iPods of various flavors, 3 iBooks (one has a dying logic board), 2 Towers, 1 PB, 1 iMac and my very first mac Centris 650. OOOHHH. We started brainwashing the kids at an early age and brought Cindy along to the age of technology in recent years. She is into digital photography.

Hey, behind every Mac fanatic is a truly understanding spouse!
