Gentlemen, the parade of iPhone knockoffs continues and is as pathetic as ever. Consider Nokia's description of its as of yet unreleased iPhone knockoff. It is so sad, but it's all good for Apple. Supposedly there will be a 3G second generation iPhone to be released this year. As Le pointed out, how do they get around the power hungry nature of 3G? I'm sure we'll find out soon - Apple will not stop the innovation train for the knockoffs to jump on! Apple will be relentless!

It is easy to match the looks of an iPhone but the software is what makes the phone easy and fun to use. It took Apple 3 years to develop the iPhone. I don't think these knockoffs can even match the iPhone with only about a year of development. Unless they had this in the works already. Which would be hard to believe based on the slow progress in improving cell phones over the years. Apple has blasted out of the gates and it would take some serious work for these competitors to be able to catch Apple who is years ahead already. Plus they own the operating system at its core, OSX.
