The New Nano

Well, Stitch, I will put forth a suggestion that the most unexpected modification of the iPod lineup was the nano. I still have my first generation iPod nano, and it still works, and I want this one too! Robin and I were both drooling over the new multi-touch design. Apple is really integrating multi-touch everywhere! This is really a creative way to re-invent the nano - it's super small (as Jobs always says), but awfully fun at the same time. It's functional, it's cool, it clips on! And on and on! Were you as taken as we were with this new diminutive device?

I like the update to the new nano. But I do wonder about dropping the camera. I know at this size it may be impossible to keep the camera. And Apple did need to create buzz for the holiday buyers. I haven't yet tried one of these. Wondering if it might be too small, but I am sure Apple has run test marketing to see what people think.

The change to the shuffle was a step back to the button interface. I guess that the micro stick with the interface on the headphones wasn't popular. In a few more iterations it will sense your bodies vitals and play the appropriate song to fit your current mood based on you past listening history :)

The only knock on the shuffle is that it is so small, some people have difficulty opening the clip without also depressing the button when they don't want to. But it sure appears to combine the best of both shuffle iterations!
