OSX 10.6 "Snow Leopard"

Gentlemen, Have you heard the latest rumor on the Mac OS? The word on the web is that the latest incarnation will be christened "Snow Leopard", version 10.6. It reportedly will concentrate more on security and speed improvements, and may be ready as soon as Macworld 2009. What say you, gentlemen? Le, you have a vested interest, as you will be switching to the fairer platform in the very near future!

I am holding out for the White Tiger version, which I am sure will be a huge leap forward in technology. The snow leopard does look intense though. I am still plodding along on my Powerbook running Panther. The poor baby is starting to show its age. The CD drive has a hard time reading disks, and a couple of screws are loose on the back hinge. The silly Torks screws. But it still outshines my PC laptop for battery charge life and screen brightness. I will have to have it mounted for display once it passes on. The kids call it the slow computer, cause it is so old now.

Stitch, I use my Powerbook still - I used it this last year programming in Python, Fortran and even a little Java! I did Keynote presentations as recently as yesterday! I am running Tiger, however. I think my powerbook would be better off sticking with Tiger for the rest of its life, and it works very well! It is no wonder we stick with Apple - with products like these, why would I want to pollute my life with Windows?
