New York state of mind

Gentlemen, I'd like to nominate a candidate for our Mactastic blog. The Gman resides in NYC, has visited both Soho and Fifth Ave Apple Stores, owns 3 macs (iMac, a dying iBook and a dying G3) has an iPod and is well acquainted with all relevant OSX and Adobe software. If the Gman receives the adequate number of votes, agrees to the blog fees and agrees to share the love, Stitch, could you contact him add to the moderator list? "gordon@_________.com

Sounds great to me!! I vote to allow the Gman to the blog. I'd love to hear the NYC perspective!! (Looks like cool artwork in the background) My background is:

1 Intel iMac (2 GHz core duo)
1 Titanium Powerbook G4 (1 GHz)
1 Powermac G3 Desktop (266 MHz)
1 Mac Classic (my wife's, we don't know if it works)
2 black iPod nanos
1 pink iPod mini (my wife's)
1 4G 40 Gb iPod (b & w screen)

I know it seems a little over the top, but...

And a partridge in a pear tree...........

Very impressive MF!

Of course we will need add the Gman to MacNight. All it takes is a nomination and a second of the nomination to make it official. I just made that rule up.

I will promptly contact him with the grand news.

Well now that we are increasing our roles here at MacNight. I would like to nominate Phillip aka "?". Although Phillip is not a Mac owner as of yet, he does own a video iPod and he is on the fence about getting a Mac. When starting college he was able to find a PC cheaper than a Mac laptop which pushed him to the darkside. Although now he is eyeing a Mini, so he can experience what computing harmony really is. Does anyone second the nomination?

Please allow me to second the nomination for Phillip to partake in our fascinating and/or irrelevant discussions and rants. Whether we learn anything or not, it is always interesting!

My vote is YEA for Mr. Phillip. I think he will make give us a very good "switch" perspective.
