Gentlemen, a mouse revolution is upon us, or so the article says:
Mouse Revolution
The idea is the scroll wheel is a metal alloy instead of plastic, and you can spin it for super fast scrolling through documents. Does this idea rock anyone's world? Do you have the urge to get one immediately?

Eh, I think that's gimmicky - I don't know how much real value that adds.

I think having a heavy "flywheel" for scrolling is a nice step ahead but a revolution, those are big shoes to fill.
