Does the new Amazon video download service threaten whatever Apple unveils next week? I know we don't know what Apple will unveil, but will it offer something comparable? I know the video quality is supposed to be better on Amazon, but those download times are sure long! It'll be fascinating!

I can see this as being some sort of a threat to Apple and their movie downloads. Amazon is one of the most visited web sites so they get virtually free advertising on the web. But the way they present what they have seems weak and confusing. Not the best marketing campaign. The other snag that I can see with Amazon is that they don't do hardware so they are at the mercy of whatever the Windows world releases. Which is not always the easiest to setup. If it is too complicated, many will pass. Apple has an opportunity hopefully they won't overprice themselves with their hardware.
