Wal-Mart Bites Back!

Gentlemen, we have heard it before, and this article appeared in the New York Post:

Walmart Bites Back

Are things supposed to work like this? It doesn't sound very nice! Comments?

Gents,

Work like this? Hell no! Wal-Mart is dancing dangerously close to the line of anti-trust! And, the studios should realize that between Target, Walgreen's, Best Buy, K-Mart, and other retailers, there are plenty of other places where they can sell movies. The further irony of it is that Wal-Mart isn't concerned that it's download movies, because they want to do their own download service! They simply want all the profits to themselves. At this point, I have no intention of frequenting Wal-Mart for movies!

Walmart is short sigthed in their thinking here. We'll still have to frequent Walmart to purchase our cheap laundry detergent and cat litter. I doubt that Apple plans to offer that anytime soon. I can hardly feel sorry for them to after see that there are several Walton family members on the top of Forbes Richest People. Mr. Jobs is a long way back.

Looks like Walmart went after the NY Post because the story does not exist on it's site anymore. Don't you just love Walmart!
