MSN Music Store closing!

Gentlemen, the MSN music store that opened in 2004 to compete with iTunes has officially closed its doors!
MSN Music Closes Doors
They hoped to compete with iTunes, but I guess it's abandoning that avenue in favor of Zune. Things sure have changed!

I think we can agree that with cell phones taking on music capability, that's where the iPod needs to go. All the signs point there!

Yes, it's quite a task to topple Apple right now, and I do not see any potentials that have the ability to do so anytime soon, in my humble opinion.

Le, you have the most objective opinion of all of us, and I gotta tell you I feel better when you say that!

Actually, Steve Jobs was asked if he was concerned about the Zune, and he said No without hesitation. He mentioned the long time it takes to transfer a song. But he's going to say something like that because he is in the limelite.

It will definitely be interesting to see how well the Zune attracts people to the platform.
