Did you hear about the survey of college students which asked "What is hip on campus?". The Apple iPod was number one in the survey followed by Beer. The company which does this survey has been doing it for years and it has been over 25 years since something has displaced beer as the number one item. Way to go Apple. Maybe they could have a Beer mug iPod and get the best of both worlds.

Apple tops Beer on college survey
Did you hear about the survey of college students which asked "What is hip on campus?". The Apple iPod was number one in the survey followed by Beer. The company which does this survey has been doing it for years and it has been over 25 years since something has displaced beer as the number one item. Way to go Apple. Maybe they could have a Beer mug iPod and get the best of both worlds.

Stitch, an exellent news catch. The iPod is a true phenomenon, replacing beer with its natural "high". As I tell Robin all the time, we now live in an "iPod Nation", and I can now say an "iPod Campus"!

Le, you miss the point of the survey. It asked what is "hip" on campus. Why beer is considered hip is odd anyway. Hip is something which is new and exciting. Beer ... it has been around since the dawn of civilization. Not that beer is good. But something hip would add to a person's coolness factor. Of course this was a survey of college students, and beer is on their minds every five minutes.
