What do you guys think of this Apple-Nike-iPod deal? A special sensor in a Nike shoe, and you have access to all kinds of information while running, like distance, etc. Will people use it? I think you also have access to special Nike music to inspire!

I personally find this a little gimmicky. I mean, the truly avid runner will have a watch or something that accomplishes the same thing, I would think. It's not a bad idea, but I cannot imagine it catching on significantly.

I kind of feel the same way. Even if I was a runner, I don't think it would be that important to me to buy the sensor and shoes.
Gentlemen I would have to disagree. I believe music and jogging are a solid marriage. My sister is an avid jogger and she has gone through various MP3 players unable to find the perfit fit. Then recently she saw my brother's Shuffle and she was amazed at how light and small it was. The web site for this relationship between Apple and Nike is not big on details but it does sound like they may be able to since the music to your pace. And possibly play a set soundtrack for your run. Of course with "Eye of the Tiger" as the final track.
One comment about the photo. I like how they show the earbuds as if they are orbiting the shoes. Very Cosmic.
Yet another astute observation, Stitch. You are indeed the proverbial "Jedi Master"! I think you need a MacBook much as the Jedi need a light saber.
